This Wednesday 27th July. CCC-B Patron James Wong has been selected as a baton bearer on Wednesday 27th at 2.50 pm in Saltley. Another baton bearer will be passing through Chinatown at 5pm. We invite you to join us as we welcome both batons. Afterwards, we will all head back to Chung Ying Restaurant for snacks and drinks. You are welcome to meet us at CCC-B at 1.30 to travel by public transport to Saltley and afterwards to Chinatown. We are limited to 30 places - booking essential, first come first served. I: Mobile test centre in Chinatown We helped organise the mobile testing unit that opened in Southside this week. Originally planned to be in the Arcadian, it was moved to the area outside the Hippodrome. I: National lockdown England has been placed into lockdown again. A summary table is below.  Other key points:  A free school meal system will be maintained for children from low income families The Government has pledged to provide devices and equipment to support learning for pupils from low income families  School exams have been cancelled for this year. The Education Secretary has confirmed that exams will be replaced with teacher assessments.  It is now against the law to leave home unless you have a specified reason.
