Can you share your personal experiences with the NHS, including interactions with GPs, hospitals, opticians, dentists, and community services such as occupational therapy? How has the quality of service been? Have you felt heard and understood? Have NHS staff respected your cultural needs as a Chinese man? This focus group will provide a space for you to discuss your experiences and ideas with other Chinese men. The discussion will be facilitated by James Tseng, the Chair of CCC-B’s Trustee Board, who will accommodate both Cantonese and Mandarin dialects.
Your confidentiality will be fully protected as we will not include any names in the report that will be produced for the NHS. The goal of this report is to increase awareness and understanding among NHS staff regarding the specific needs of Chinese men.
Attendance is free, and this is an opportunity for you to make an impact on the NHS and help improve services for the Chinese community. Spaces are limited, so please register by calling 0121 685 8510.
