Officers from Birmingham Councils' Education Department have kindly agreed to meet parents to answer their concerns around schools and support for parents, especially those who wish to home-school during the pandemic. CCC-B Badminton Friendship Tournament With the aim to enrich communities’ interaction and well-being, CCC-B will host a Badminton Friendship Tournament on 11th January 2020 at University of Birmingham. There are no barriers in sports and no limit to nationality, race or creed. Anyone and everyone are welcome to take part and enjoy the fun brought by badminton. The competition format is a group competition (including men's doubles and mixed doubles), with 6 players each team (at least 1 female player is required to participate). All teams will be divided into two groups. The first stage is a single round match within the group. Thanks to Active Communities, the funded project will enable us to set up a 'Men Self-support Group' for a group of Chinese gentlemen who are over 55+. Through delivering a variety of wellbeing activities, the aim is to increase male's physical, mental and social wellbeing, to improve their self-care and confidence.
