Overall Aim of Service

            

To support people in accessing all welfare benefits and public services to which they are legally entitled to, in order to eradicate or minimise disadvantage and exclusion.

We provide advice and information on matters such as:

  • Housing
  • Health and Social Care
  • Disability
  • Older People
  • Women
  • General enquiries

Outcomes

Income maximised through benefit take up; increased financial inclusion; improved standard of living; enhanced choice and control, increased contribution to the local economy.

Our Information, Advice & Guidance service is available to everyone at a fee, with a reduced fee for members. Those with financial hardship, please still speak to us as we may be able to reduce or waive the fees. We will advise you of the fees before confirming appointments.

As of 2022, we have renamed our Advice & Advocacy (AA) service to Information, Advice & Guidance (IAG) to better reflect the services we offer.
